Glendale Hose Company #1 Scott Township, Pennsylvania Allegheny County

Now 128 years later, 70 members strong, six pieces of equipment, Glendale Hose Company continues to serve Scott Township proudly.  The Hose Company along with two other fire companies serves the Township of Scott, protecting a total of 17,000 residents in ruffly a four square mile radius.           The firefighters of Glendale Hose Company are highly trained and diverse in many aspects.   We answer calls from house fires to vehicle accidents.  Not only are our men and women specially trained, we have the equipment to follow.  In our garage you will find a 102 foot ariel platform truck for high rise rescue or master stream opperations, a rescue truck with the famous "Jaws of life" aboard to our newest engine that carries a state of the art Thermal Imagining Camera.  All of this equipment wouldn't be possible without the generousity of our friends, the citizens of Scott Township.
